UW-IT’s responsibilities include:
- Strategic Oversight: Guides IT infrastructure, services, and resources across the University.
- Campus Collaboration: Partners with academic, clinical, and administrative units to align IT with their needs.
- Central IT Management: Oversees core services, academic tools, administrative systems, classroom tech, networking, cybersecurity, data centers, and more.
- Support for UW Community: Delivers technology tools and resources for students, faculty, and staff.
- Executive Partnership: Works with University leadership and governance to shape IT strategy, policy, and priorities.
