How to Get Microsoft Office 365
You can download the desktop applications from the Microsoft Office web page. Log in with your UW NetID and click “Install and more” in the upper right.
For mobile apps, visit your device’s app store and search for Microsoft Office.

License Details
- Allows you to install Microsoft Office applications on up to five PCs, Macs, tablets, and smartphones.
- Students, staff, and faculty can use personal and UW-owned computers and devices.
- This license expires when you leave UW.
- The license is intended for individual use and cannot be shared with family or friends.
- Includes access to applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Teams.
- A perpetual license (Microsoft Office LTSC) is available for institutionally owned computers. It does not expire. We recommend using Microsoft Office LTSC in laboratory settings or on shared devices
