Power Automate Premium

Microsoft Power Automate is a cloud-based service that allows you to automate repetitive tasks, connect applications, and streamline workflows across Microsoft 365 and other platforms. With Power Automate, users can create automated workflows (“flows”) between apps and services to synchronize files, get notifications, collect data, and more.

How to Get Power Automate Premium

Faculty or Staff

  • Access requires a valid UW NetID and Microsoft 365 account.
  • Purchases of premium licenses require valid UW worktags and budget approver authorization.
  • No Procurement cards or direct individual purchases are available.
  • Power Automate premium licenses are billed annually, with the license period running from July 1 through June 30.
  • UW-IT cannot prorate or refund the cost of Power Automate licenses.
  • UW-IT will automatically bill for Power Automate premium licenses in the following license cycle.

License Details

  • Named User Licenses are assigned to individuals.
  • An individual license can’t be assigned to a shared UW NetID.
  • UW-IT’s annual subscription billing is automatic:
UW-IT will automatically bill your UW funding source for this software subscription in the next license term, which begins every (fiscal) year on July 1.
  • Do you need to reassign the license to another person? You can make a reassignment request anytime during the subscription period by going to Manage My Subscriptions and completing the request form to transfer the subscription.
  • Should you need to cancel the subscription:
If you decide not to continue with another subscription term, you can stop UW-IT’s automatic billing and cancel the subscription. Canceling means your subscription will end on June 30. Use the Manage My Subscription Form, and do so no later than June 1.
