UW-IT is responsible for strategic oversight, planning, and direction of the University’s information technology infrastructure, resources, and services. Executive Order 63 and Administrative Policy Statements (APS) 2.3, 2.5, and 2.6 direct UW-IT to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and sustainability of university information and technology systems.
UW-IT is committed to transparency in all aspects of governance, including the processes and controls that guide our work. UW-IT collaborates with members of the University community, with external stakeholders, and with other state agencies to develop policies, standards, and procedures and to align them with the priorities of the University.
