Before starting a chat

Please note the following:

  • Chat agents can only help with services that UW-IT provides. If your inquiry is not related to a UW-IT-provided service, we recommend searching UW contacts to find the appropriate support contact.
  • Due to staffing constraints, chat may be unavailable at times. If you need immediate phone assistance, instead of starting a chat session, please call us at 206-221-5000.
  • If you are reporting an incident or service outage, instead of starting a chat session, fill out the “Submit an Incident Report” form on UW-IT’s Service Status Page.
