Learn about the 2023 digital accessibility winners, including UW Libraries, and join them by applying to get your high-impact videos captioned without charge by UW-IT’s Accessible Technology Services. Many of UW’s videos made by various groups for YouTube are not captioned, or rely on YouTube’s auto-generated captions, which are most often not accurate enough.

Attend any or all of the free in-person or online presentations and workshops on various accessibility topics offered by UW-IT Accessible Technology Services as part of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) on May 18. Activities include training on web accessibility testing tools, writing good alt text for images, creating accessible charts, accessible tables in Word and PDF, among others.
